Legal Information
Effective Date: April 2026
Studio Praxis, LLC ("Studio Praxis," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using Studio Praxis, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
A. Account Information: When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, username, and securely encrypted password.
B. User Content: When you use the Service, we collect uploaded artwork, titles, descriptions, artist statements, and generated critiques.
C. Usage & Technical Data: We automatically collect information about how you use the platform (pages visited, submission activity) and device information (IP address, browser type).
D. Payment Information: If you make a purchase, payments are processed through third-party providers (Stripe). We do not store full credit card information.
E. Communications Data: If you contact us by email or through the platform, we retain records of those communications.
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to operate and improve the Service. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. By using the Service, you consent to our use of these technologies.
Essential Cookies: Necessary for authentication, session management, and core platform functionality. Disabling them will impair your ability to use the Service.
Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how users interact with the platform so we can improve it. May involve third-party analytics providers such as Google Analytics.
Preference Cookies: Remember your settings and customize your experience.
Marketing Cookies: Used to deliver relevant content and measure the effectiveness of communications.
You may control or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Please note that doing so may affect certain features of the Service. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies — consult your browser's help documentation for instructions.
We use your information to provide the Service, analyze artwork and generate critiques, track progress across submissions, and deliver portfolio readiness evaluations. We also use it to improve platform performance, communicate with you regarding your account and the Service, send transactional and marketing emails (as described below), and ensure security and prevent fraud.
By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional emails necessary to operate your account, including account verification, critique delivery notifications, billing confirmations, and important service updates. You may also receive marketing and product-related communications. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such email, or by contacting us at support@studiopraxis.io. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional messages.
Studio Praxis uses artificial intelligence to analyze submitted artwork, generate structured critiques, and provide benchmarking insights. Your uploaded content is processed by AI systems for these purposes. Unlike free AI generators that scrape user data, Studio Praxis operates exclusively on paid, enterprise-grade API agreements (Google Cloud) which legally and strictly prohibit the ingestion or retention of client data for model training. Your intellectual property remains 100% yours. Your work is analyzed securely to generate your private report, and is never fed back into the public machine.
We do not sell your personal data or artwork. We may share information only with trusted third-party service providers (such as hosting providers, payment processors, and AI infrastructure providers) that help operate the platform. These providers are required to protect your data under contractual obligations. We may also disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid government request.
We store uploaded artwork, critiques, and progress history to allow you to access past submissions and track your development over time. We retain data as long as your account is active. Following account termination, your data may be retained for up to 30 days before permanent deletion.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures, including encrypted connections, secure servers, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access, data loss, or security breaches. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for keeping backup copies of any artwork you upload, as we cannot guarantee data recovery in the event of loss.
You have the right to access your data, request correction of inaccurate information, delete your account and associated data, opt out of marketing communications, and export your reports (where available). To make a request, contact us at the email below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the platform prior to the change taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
